You can create your OWN online service, completely under your control and
able to offer appropriate levels of access to in-house employees, remote
employees and customers. The Worldgroup server from which you are now
reading this may be in a position to provide Internet access for your
online service. If not, its management may be in a position to aid you
as consultants in designing and creating your online service.

A Worldgroup server of your own can provide Windows PC users with:

  - online catalogs from which users can order by credit card
  - public opinion polls to provide you with market/voter sentiment
  - sophisticated file library access either sold to the public by
the kilobyte or used by workgroups within an organization
  - business teleconference including common whiteboard access
  - entertainment teleconference far more feature-rich than IRC
  - mail exchange with Internet users, Novell MHS users, and others
  - discussion forums which can be public or private (workgroup-oriented)
  - video teleconferencing (virtual classroom, virtual boardroom)
  - plus a continuing stream of new client apps coming online daily

Users without Microsoft Windows can communicate with your Worldgroup server
in terminal mode (ASCII text, or ANSI or RIP graphics) through the many
traditional Telnet/Rlogin programs currently on the Internet, through modem
programs such as Telix and Qmodem, through Novell NetWare connections, etc.

You can download your own copy of the Worldgroup Plug-in and Worldgroup
Manager from this Worldgroup server. It is freely distributable and
does not require any sort of registration.

Two-user Worldgroup Starter kits are available from Galacticomm Inc.,
4101 SW 47th Ave., Suite 101, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33314, Web server
http://www.gcomm.com and main sales line (800) 328-1128.

These provide a low-cost way for you to experiment with building your own
online service or using the Worldgroup Plug-in to add real depth to your
existing Web site. Worldgroup can be scaled up as your needs grow.
