Re: Hostdeny.txt
Another person's hostdeny.txt would likely be useless to you. Your own is probably also useless. These scripters that attack the login almost always spoof their IP address, so you could potentially (but highly unlikely) be blocking someone's actual IP address who might be trying to connect at some p...

Re: Modules not showing
The .DMD files would only exist if you had disabled the module in WGSDMOD. It just renames the .MDF to .DMD so the BBS knows not to load it. I have never seen the issue where the modules don't appear listed in WGSDMOD. Are you positive you're putting them into the right directory? All of the files s...

Re: Crash - Stryker/Brinker RPG Games
Nah I think Zorgon is a Sort Arts module. It wouldn't have the same bug.

Re: Modules not showing
It should list anything that's "enabled" in the WGSDMOD offline utility. Basically "enabled" means there's a (module).MDF file, and "disabled" means there's a (module).DMD file. Make sure you're copying in a .MDF file along with the .DLLs and .MSGs and whatnot. If there...

Re: Crash - Stryker/Brinker RPG Games
For me, on V10, yes... it's all the moonshae stuff. This didn't crash on any versions prior to V10 as far as I know. I haven't had this crash occur in a long time and have cleared my galexcep.out file since then. If nobody else has a crash log to send you, I can fire up a test VM and produce one for...

Re: Always On Top
While Microsoft gives you absolutely ZERO warning about this, I recommend you DO NOT install the Power Toys app if you are running Win10-32. It works fine on all my 64-bit Windows computers that I tested it on, but installing it on the Win10-32 VM caused a BSOD. :( Oh well...I'll keep looking for ot...

Re: Crash - Stryker/Brinker RPG Games
Yes, this has been a known bug for a while now. The same thing happens whether it's the GALxxx or the ELWxxx versions.

Re: Explains how to get 16 & 32 bit doors to run
You can use GameSrv (https://www.gamesrv.ca/) which does the same thing. GHost/2 was never finished/released.

Always On Top
Any chance of adding an "always on top" option for the console window? With my single VM setup, DOSBox doors will open in normal windows on top of the console and suck up system resources unnecessarily. If I pull the console back to the front manually, the problem is solved. Would love to ...

Re: Forum Search... Help?
The client/server mode was removed for V10. It used very old VB apps that won't run on any modern version of Windows. Also the console will not run fullscreen as far as I know, but you can adjust the font size/settings for that console window and get it to a size that you'll likely find satisfactory...
