Yes codes are being sent, sometimes it just takes a few days.

The Demo BBS is back up and appears to be stable. I had to restore from a backup that was a few hours old so for any MMUD players a small amount of progress will have been lost.

I am aware the demo BBS is currently offline and I am working on getting it back online. I will post here and on Discord once it's back up.

Unfortunately, due to an ISP error, the changeover did not occur seamlessly however it is now resolved and access should be available.

Please note that at 10:30AM EST TODAY we are changing ISPs on the server hosting the official demo BBS (bbs.themajorbbs.com). This will result in a loss of connection for any users online at the time and may cause intermittent connectivity issues until DNS propagates the changes.

If you are looking for a way to import (pull) Usenet groups (NNTP) then a utility has been written and can be found here: https://github.com/TheMajorBBS/NNTPImporter

This means you do not require a host that will push an NNTP feed to you.
