Thanks for the answer Blaz, you nailed it with the annoyance, as a sys admin it drives me crazy to see all the bash attempts and not be able to block on a software/hardware level. I will check my settings as you mentioned to ensure there is no performance degradation and move on if not a big deal. C...

in the 90's there was a bbs that allowed us to dialup and play doom II multiplayer, is Doors what would have been used to accomplish this? could this still be done on new majorbbs software and if so could anyone even play it with current operating systems not having a true ms-dos?
