To clarify, is it the installation of MBBS that fails or when trying to install an add-on? If it is add-on related, what add-on?

I said I had it showing a date, not the correct one :)

If you disable DUPIP and MMUD, does it still happen? If not, add one back in and check, then the other to see if we can identify the cause.

Does this occur every time you try and start MBBS?

If you disable Dial Control, start the BBS, shutdown, re-enable it and re-start what happens?

Does it load with it disabled and not when it is re-enabled?
