Re: New installation or upgrade?
If you have an existing wg3.2 installation then you can use the upgrade which will keep your setting in place.
Your existing activation code will work with the v10 installer.

MajorLink Update
Hi All, Work has been progressing on updating WorldLink (to be rebranded MajorLink) and as part of this an updated module has been released. This updated version removes the manual scheduler that was required to configure WorldLink to connect to the hub. Sysops are no longer required to enter days/t...

Update #14
Hi, Firstly, apologies for the long gap between updates. I have been dealing with several personal matters that have taken the bulk of my time and prevented me from being able to be as active as I would like. It is for this reason that there has been very little activity going on with development ho...

Re: wgserver crashed at 4:20am and will not restart since
It is usually caused by the Btrieve engine not closing properly and holding the files open. Once wgserver is closed, if you use task manager to close W32MKDE then relaunch MBBS it should start again.
We are looking at doing some pre-flight checks to prevent this.

Hi,
What happens when you try to restart? Do you get a Btrieve 20 error?

Re: Menu Tree / MDF Files
Renaming the MDF does not reflect in the Menu Tree from what I have seen. I tried this when changing Worldlink -> Majorlink so there must be references in the menu DAT file that need to be altered.

So that seems to be a dead-end for the time being. The serial number should be in the documentation for the free versi...

Re: Putting an old board on line
Hi tus,
As BlaZ mentioned, you should be able to run your existing backup and install the GALICO for telnet access - this would be the easiest and least painful approach.
If you needed to up your line count I can generate another GALPACK for you.
