Web to Telnet

Post by Abraxis »

Hi all,

I’ve been on several systems lately that have a web/browser based Telnet program that allows telnet right off a web page with no additional software needed. Anyone be able to point me toward a downloadable copy?

Abraxis,

I think you will find an answer to question at ftelnet.ca, or just google ftelnet.

I used this in the past, it actually works pretty well

use the telnet java applet. gives you a windowed telnet session and embeds nicely into html pages.

I also suggest fTelnet - it is open-sourced on Github, see https://github.com/rickparrish/fTelnet

I use a Java telnet program on mine. Opens up a window and connects to the board. Works petty well. I think i have a copy of it in my file libraries if you want to try it.
