documentation and user editing

Hi,

Having just fiddled with MBBS, I'm wondering if there's a v10 version of the documentation?

My BBS is installed on a remote system and I need to rdp into it. I dunno if it's because of that; but when I use the wgsappgo.exe's window to edit the new account, I am having trouble scrolling to the next line. It would output highbit ascii (if this even makes sense) instead of scrolling. The tab works to change the tab though. Is there some sort of offline editor for this? I took a look at wgscnf.exe; but that's just the key configuration.

Anyway, I think the 6.2 documentation does seem to have information that also pertains to v10.

Thanks

ewx

Hi,

Yes the documentation is something on the list to be done.

The tabbing in the console is a strange windows terminal issue in the way it is interpreting the key presses. Some screen respond with ctrl or shift held down while using the left/right. Also use the number pad instead of the keypad.

The other way to modify users is via the sysop menu when you login to the BBS.

i have a gui user editor i wrote for Major BBS 6.25 i will port to v10. it allows you to edit ANYTHING including class and keys.
You can enter it and utilize the gui interface or use the global command to do it from anywhere on the system.
