I'm running MajorBBS 10 on a Windows 10 32-bit VM and all of the offline things work. I'm not sure if the MajorMUD offline things are 16-bit DOS or 32-bit NT console apps. If they were DOS apps and didn't run on a 64-bit installation, you should be able to run them manually in DOSBox so long as you mounted C:\ (or whatever) as drive c in DOSBox. Then all the paths would be the same. Hopefully someone else who is actually running this in a 64-bit Windows installation can confirm.

The demo BBS is running on Windows Server 2019 64bit and MMUD runs fine. It is a completely stock build and the only utility it runs is at cleanup or if there is a crash to check the databases (wccmmutl.exe).

What utilities do you regularly run? I can do some tests for you.

the majormud offline utilities
When the wg is down start buttton,wg server,utilities,offline utilities,majormud utilities, the first choice is the most used one but all are needed
if they don't work then you have a problem they are critical to mmud

The original installer for MMUD does not work on modern systems so most people have to manually extract the files and therefore it does not create the Windows shortcuts.

Running wccmmutl.exe presents a menu with the following options:

- Database recovery
- Coin sweep
- Remove items from all rooms
- Ganghouse cleanup options
- Remove items from non-ganhouses
- Action Editor (MMUD Plus - EE)
- Clear plus data (MMUD Plus - EE)

Are these what you are referring to? If so, I have tested these and they appear to function as expected

yes those are the mmud utilities that are critical to mud

my version? absolutely, though the "offline utils" are done differently no more rehashing done after crashes of the system as everything is "real-time"
so no need to reindex anything, if system crashed at 22:11:49 game will come back up at 22:11:49

as for the client, it will run under any windows 32 or 64 as it utilizes code done in borland c++ 5.5 and uses sqlite as the backend.
i do still utilize btrieve for user data file only
