I sent an email to the contact address to get an activation key, but haven't gotten a response yet. From reading the forums it seems it is usually occurs within 24 hours, so I was wondering if its because its the weekend, or is everything still active here?

Hi there,

I recently obtained old registered copies of MBBS and WG v1.1 from some friends who have had them sitting on a shelf for many years.

I can across this site and tried the key from WG 1.1 with the 3.x version but no luck as they don't seem compatible.
Is there anyway to obtain an updated activation code from V1.1 to 3.x

If you fill in the form at https://www.themajorbbs.com/contact we will be able to look into it for you.

Please include any existing BBS registration numbers and the details of the original purchaser so we can find the old records. That way we can issue you with a new code.

Found the code and got it running.

Now I gotta figure out how to set up doors :)

Seems it was just the demo code that was in there and not a full one.

Gonna fill out the form but should i give you the original owners info? there is no BBS running ATM for the form info.

also should i give you my info on the form since i now own the software and my bbs name? or add that stuff in the comments box?
