FUGlobals no longer showing date in online header listing

Not sure if this started with the rollover to 2024, but I noticed on my system and a few others I call regularly that the date no longer shows in the user listing of FU Globals..

Running MBBS v10 Beta 32

Good eye. I hadn't noticed, but not showing up on mine either. Just the day and time and a blank space between.

Thanks for the reports, we will look into it. Maybe the year 2000 bug is 24 years late? :)

This bug has been fixed and the update can be downloaded from www.themajorbbs.com/files (download DialSoft FU Globals for v10 (Beta)).

Backup and replace your current DIALGLO.DLL with the new one, being careful to not replace other files if you have an existing setup.

This update will be incorporated in the next general v10 release as well.

I noticed that the user list in FU globals always shows the "# Lines in Use" as one fewer than the actual number. I'm not sure if that's the case on everyone's BBS or not.

It's showing visible lines in use. The Worldlink connection isn't being counted since it's invisible. It also doesn't count you or anyone else that's logged on invisible.

I'm talking about the visible lines...when I wrote that the ;# list showed 14 visible users (I was logged in with a normal user account) but the # Lines in Use: said 13.

You are correct. I was invisible when I checked so it matched what I expected. When I went visible, the count didn't increase, making it 1 short. I tried a regular account and it showed 1 less also.

Not sure if it's just my BBS or everyone's, but I patched in the date fix dll and it's showing *a* date again, but not the right one. It says "February 19, 2024".

Unless I fell asleep for a month.
