Sorry, the video was set to private, I wasn't thinking... It should work now.

The problem is the horrid scroll rate. The video can describe the problem much better than my words can.

Need help solving a WG2 telnet issue on fresh install

I have a problem that I can not resolve with telnet.

I have made a small video to show what the exact symptoms are. It's much easier to show you in video than to even try to explain this. Has anyone experienced this issue before in my posted link:

I don't think so. I can use other telnet application servers with fluid smoothness. It has something to do with Majorbbs TCP protocol.

they had a lot of congestion on their network due to lots of tiny packets (think telnet). Nagle's brilliant solution was the Nagle algorithm which says, essentially, only send one small packet out without getting an acknowledgment (ACK). Otherwise, wait until you've got enough of them to send out a ...

Can you throw me one of those 256 keys codes so I can mess around with the software legally. I'm under the impression that this software is basically dead and Questman owns the rights and he might give free keys out to some lucky person. I'm an old school BBSer from the 80's and I would love to ...

Where is your WG database located? What do you have to have installed as a mod to allow users to use the flash games in chat? Also, this brings me to the question of, will it, or have they made a port to play these old flash games while connected via telnet? Seeing how these were COM1-4 based games ...

I use to run a 2 node BBS called "Terminal Meltdown" using Renegade BBS software under a multi-tasker called Desqview in the early 90's, and I've been bbsing since the mid 80's. Purely a hobby of mine that I loved so much. Great entertainment.

I used and played on MajorBBS systems throughout all ...

Sychronet is pretty good stuff. I've played around with it before and liked it a lot. I was thinking about rejuvenating my old BBS with it, mainly because it's free. If you look back in the Synchronet forums a couple of years ago, you'll see some of my posts in there if you look deep enough :)

Hi,

I am an old school BBSER that started BBSing in the mid 80's. It's nice to see support of old school software still alive! I hope to continue to be apart of your community here. Nice to meet you!

Flash Games for MajorBBS 6.25

I'm looking for a couple of flash game modules for majorbbs called FLASH ATTACK, FLASH WARS, and ANY or ALL FLASH game modules, along with there client program.

Also, I use to have a TSR program specially for FLASH ATTACK that would record your movement to the base and automatically drive you there ...
