I'm not sure what I'm really doing anymore. Although I sincerely enjoyed spending hours chatting with you Stoneslinger76 and Ragtop, I'm truthfully just losing interest with this project. Your help was most valued. And I thank you for your time.

Re: Console Freeze?
Not sure how to really put it, but I've noticed that sometimes the console seems frozen, although the server still functions otherwise. For example If I wanted to say hit F7 to login, or use tab to cycle thru the various console menu's I couldn't. The only work around to this is to shutdown the ...

Still a massive work in progress, but got a dyndns address for the BBS yay!
It's: http://metacomm.dyndns-server.com
Strange that Worldlink has a period before the address. My guess is something in windows is doing that.

WG v2.00 & Windows XP-SP3
Anyone currently running a WG v2.00 on an XP w/ SP3 system? I downloaded the Worldgroup DOS on XP help documentation, and tried following the instructions provided.
The instructions for AUTOEXEC.NT tells me to set a path to all sorts of directories. I'm guessing that these instructions we're also ...

Re: Terminal Program
What terminal program does everyone use to connect to BBS's? I use mTelnet, but I just upgraded to Windows 7 (finally) and you cannot make it full screen it just does the little Window. I'm trying to find something nice that is full screen. Anyone have any suggestions?

Sigh, more running around. I'm really tired of hopping thru hoops to get a simple installer, screw it, I'll run a virgin board. Appreciate the help tho, but this is just rediculous hopping around 5 million places of which 95%+ of them return 404 errors, or simply do not exist.

Console Patch?
Is there by chance a fix for the 3.2/3.3-NT console bug? Basically when you (F7) into the board, the text seems to be off by maybe 2 characters. I'm not sure how one would explain it, but say your in MajorMUD and try to read a paragraph or even a sentence of text, it would start on the right screen ...

Well anyways, I logged onto your BBS Stoneslinger76 and found a nice library. However I don't see the latest MajorMUD installer. I noticed that your running version 1.1p. Any chance you can email me at jlittge@gmail.com with the 1.1p installer for WG 3.3-NT? Many thanks in advance.

I'm currently rebuilding my bbs from scratch. I have absolutely nothing beyond the baseline package. Building off of WG v3.30-NT. I'm hoping someone who read this can help. I need the following mods that work for WG V3.30NT.

I think I had the sirius package for WG 2.0. I lost my entire system due to a fire, and now a decade later, after seeing that there is activity here, decided to rebuild from scratch. however now V3.30.

Mod
I used to own a mod, that allowed people to play various games like DOOM, Hexen etc thru WG using an addon. My guess of the mod name was GameConnection or something simular, would be neat to have that back. I enjoyed being fragged by my users back in the day. Anyone ever have that, or know who ...

Although it's been about a decade since we we're last online, I will/am in the process of rebuilding from scratch. Including all the terminal side ANSI's, and what seems like an endless amount of text block editing.
Yes, it's likely a waist of time changing every facet of the terminal side in terms ...

TeamSpeak/Ventrilo
It's great we have these forums, however at least for me I like a more personal approach at times. Especially something that is of interest to you. Anyone else share this philosophy? I'm talking about a voice over ip server called TeamSpeak or Ventrilo. Much like Skype, but with more options and ...
