What is the best way to move a wg 3.x system to a new box without having to set-up everything again and without losing messages in the forums, email, etc?
Thanks!

Re: Port Forwarding
If I use bellsouth, my isp with mail.bellsouth.net, it needs authentication and you have to use xxxxx@bellsouth.net. I subscribed to a service at DNSEXIT.COM that relays mail and accepts on 2525 and 26. Also, they do not require authentication, they will open up to your IP without authentication ...

someone pointed me to a program called Relay TCP. This program allows you to "relay" one port to another. I have been trying to get this to work with smtp email. I keep getting an error message in the wg log. I am running the service on the same box as wg, and I am able to do a telenet to port 25 ...

What would happen (or should happen) if you have a forum echoed to say alt.bbs and someone posts a message to the forum? Shouldn't that message go out via nntp? Also, how would a push be accomplished?

Has anyone had any experience with setting up usenet? There is a free feeder at nntp.aioe.org, and this is what I have listed as the NNTP News Server in WG, However, I get this message in the audit trail:

If you use authorized SMTP, you should use another port.. but I don't think there are any mods to Worldgroup that allows for SMTP w/ Auth.

Yup. Aware of this one, and need to setup a 2nd development box just to see if I can reproduce it. But I know it happens, as I am getting it on High Society now. Can't afford to QA on that box though.
Sorry. I'll get to it soon. I do have two other slots modules though :-)

This may sound like a stupid question, but can WG3.x be configured to listen on an http port besides port 80 (which I assume is the default) for web server services?
