try saying it this way:

What didn't they mess up in 3.3

lemme let you in on a secret, take alof of the 3.3 baselines and compare em to the 2.0 baselines :)

when selling a product for $10,000.00 you'd think they would put a lil more effort into it eh?

use 3.2 thats the last official by gcomm and whenever i do baseline/server code fixes i use 3.2

Well, now, hold on - I'm not sure if Corey is asking why older add-ons won't work in the WG3.3 -

Worldgroup 3.x changed the module format, as well as a lot of the internals of Galacticomm (including system API routines, the BTrieve routines and accesses, and datatypes).

As such, all modules needed to be "ported" up to the WG3 format, including the WG3.0 DOS.

MBBS6.25/WG1.x/WG2.x essentially were the same product, with a few knick-knacks in each that could potentially have rendered the module specific to one of the versions. Excalibur was one notable product that was not compatible with MBBS6 but was only for WG1 back when.

Excalibur is coming back, btw...
