I am trying to get Tele-Arena to run. I really want my son to play it. I was trying WG 2.0, but the packet driver thing is really throwing me for a loop (mainly because I want it to run on a virtual server, so I don't have to worry about the hardware it is running on) I found that I do have WG 3.30, will TA run in that? How would i get it to work, it is just files. Could any of you fine BBS gurus help me out?
Thanks
~John

I have the NT version of Tele-Arena II running on 3.2 without any problems so far. It is my understanding though that any of the games written for the DOS versions of WG won't run under the NT versions.

Right. TA1 unfortunately was not kept distinct from TA2; so the DATA FILES that make up TA1 (the "world", etc) exist but were never converted to the TA2 code base, and the TA2 data files are slightly different... So I have to make the time to do this conversion.
Dan's been bugging me to do it for ages and I really mean to but I'm really busy at the office - working very long hours - and just don't have time and don't want to do it wrong.
