DMA Server help!

Ok I got this damn software out of Vircom and I am trying to set it up...I think I have it configured right but not sure.
What type of channels do you use for a DMA server? I think its TELALT but not sure.
And my DMA server and my Main bbs have the same Reg#'s is that correct or do they need to have their own reg#'s meaning I would need two Reg#'s

I have the 2.22-4 docs and I have gone back over them and found that its just a TELNET channel and it looks like it doesn't matter about the reg# because I am using the DMA Client on the other system but I still cant connect to the DMA server....guess I will go back through it all one more time and see if I have missed anything

whats running on the DMA server WG2/MajorTCP/IP? what version there was issues with certain versions of the DMA server, although there are newerversions i use 2.10-14 best version thus far.

Its running WG2 w/MajorTCP/IP & DMA Server V2.22-4 it loads fine but nothing can connect to it. I am using the same WG reg# on both WG2 and WG3.2NT and I have the DMA server activation code set in the DMA client like it says to do when you use the same Reg# on both systems.

reg# is fine, this sounds wierd, did ya check with Joe over at CCS? he runs on, i did YEARS ago only for access to my Tele-Arena platinum game and i had sub-bbs mode running on wg2, users came in and were thrown right into the game. just like your standard rlogin servers do today only it would put them directly into the TAPLAT module page.

It's been a long time since I've messed with my DMA Server /Client but I think I recall having a similar problem when I first used mine. If I recall there was something that had to be Disabled or Not Configured in the MajorTCPIP for it to switch into DMA Server Mode. It was like one of the Channel Types or one of the Sub-Modules in MajorTCPIP. I think Vircom made it like that so you could't fudge the Licences and use it for a Regular Server at the same time. I might be wrong, but this is what come to mind.
