ok my newest release n the wg dos community is worldgroup v2.20b

it adds several features only available in 3.xx and guess what, it all works in a dos enviroment.
those of you running 2.0 for dos you're in luck cause this release adds very good features including ghosted acct support, built in internet ico,and several other features.

im using the same reg code schemas as wg 2.0 dos however i have disabled 15 reg#'s from wroking based on several crack sheets i have gotten from various sources over the past 4years

good news though is rick can give ya a code.
bad news is you need a 2nd code only i can generate which i will gladly do :)
i did that so i could know who had my product so rest assured ypu wont need to spend any more money just let me know you have it so i can generate you a reg#

worldgroup 2.20 supports all wg 2.xx modules you currently have but also has integrated modules in the core like globals,etc...

all i ask is a $50 donation which is not required just if you wanna say hey Daniel good job here ya go, sweet if not thats sweet too wg 2.20 is not crippled in any way.

and so ya know.

wg 2.20 has the exact same features as 3.20xx and uses 29% less system resources.

how did i do this? very simply, i found a very serious bug in the gcomm lib
several functions are seriously bugged.

jack alvirus told me 2yrs ago about the bugs in some of the functions so with wg 2.20 i fixed alot and basicallt gave ya wg 3.20 power in a dos enviroment.
this has taken me a while and i will release it to the public when i get a good installer.

and a demo version is gonna be available too
demo version allows only 50 user accounts though.

for NT users dont fret wg 3.50 is being made avail to you,
same reg info as above but adds very good features to you like PHP support, and over 20 other features.

you're a unix user you say?

not a problem, WorldGrup UNIX 1.20 has been in testing for over a month with great results.
majotunix was lost, netvillage cant seem to get a good unix ver out so i said fuck it ill do it.
thats still months away from release but rest assured its happening and going great.

You probably would be better distributing these changes as changes rather than official releases of Worldgroup.

NetVillage has no right to grant anyone (including themselves) the right to distribute Worldgroup.

thats actually what it is i just wanted a post to grab their eye :)

it has no official installer, basically you unzip my archive and run install.exe

it backs up the files its gonna overwrite then unzips an archive to the bbs dir

basically all i did was fix 4 bugs in the wg 2.0 core. the others are in some of the gcomm libs so i just made relacements or used the borland version of the same command.

added some col things like internal no-ghosting like 3.x does, globals, logon/logoff notifier, some other things to make it cool.

does anyone actually own this thing anymore?

Sounds great. I run wg2.0 on my main server and my dma server. I use MajorTCP and have a no ghost add on as well as a good global package. What other things are better? The web interface?

What I would love to find is a WG client that needs no patch to run under XP.

Keep up the good work! This whole group and project is great!

Anything I can do, just let me know. I have a T-1.
