I ran MajorBBS and then Worldgroup for quite a few years and decided to put it back up to use for our local Ham club. I'm installing it on an XP machine, 4gigs ram, 3mhz cpu and 1 terabyte of drive space.

I installed it to c:\wgserv but when I try to launch it it comes up with the following error:

"Btrieve open error 86 on file wgsstat2.dat"

I have no clue what that means anymore or where to start. I would appreciate some help getting this thing going.

file table is full use regedit to increase the number of max open files.

Thanks for that answer. I changed the registry entry and all is working fine now.
