TEO BBS is currently down, but I plan to once again relaunch after we find the illusive 486 DX/2 computer we are seeking

I now have a domain for my blog and plan to point bbs.jmikeneedham.net to the bbs box which will have an IP of it's own for Telnet connections... I want to be able to send and receive Internet email into the system and while i have a copy of Vircom TCP (hacked), I need to be able to send out mail and the problem is that everything (including our internal server) requires authentication to do it... has anyone come up with a patch to allow talking to the mailservers? I am all ears!
Thanks,
Mike
Update -- Decided to Try WG 1.01 for UNIX. I am real lost here, the archive has a INSTA_AA file which when I run it -- it works fine except that I am sure that my modern Debian Etch system is not setup like the ol' Linux 1.2 systems of old. What would be the trick to get this working under a modern Linux or FreeBSD? I assume the ISO for the WG 1.01 is okay and complete. I think we need a workaround to get it installed though on a modern Linux box... not sure it would even work, but I think that would be the answer to my problems.
@dspain: Have you ever done this one?
Thanks Again,
Mike
BTW: Good to See Gary Martin in the community! Metro BBS here in KC was a great board!!!
