I know nearly all software has "back doors" programed in for various reasons. I would like to hear your thoughts reguarding a telnet bbs software addon/program.

Its author has programed in the ability to remotely change the login messages when a user enters the "doorway".

The sysop can not change it or remove it.

I am NOT speaking of a worldgroup/major bbs module.

Programmers do a lot of wierd things.
MajorMud does wierd things if it thinks it's be modded. everyone in the game gets a wierd weapon,
cocktail wienie toothpick, and they all become hog farmers or something.
