I just wanted to add a request. The game is called Infinity Complex.
I really loved that game and hope that it can be found/upgraded.
Did galactic empire get all sorted out? That was another good one!

If you need a beta teser i will volunteer!Questman wrote:Uh, I ported Galactic Empire like two years ago to NT.
I also own Infinity Complex, Hagrid. I've got it working under NT, but I need to really beta test it to make sure it doesn't crash and it's stable. It does a lot of things dynamically.
To do so, I need to setup a 2nd BBS somewhere that is just for test...
im setting up a beta test server for all the games in elwynors catalog to keep high society from going down alot.Malakai wrote:I never really played this game in the dialup days but do remember one of the local bbs systems having it. My impressions at first, back then and even now, is that it was a weird and confusing game. Pretty much all I knew about it is that it had some thing to do with nazis and aliens.
After testing it for this short period of time, I started learning more about it and actually getting in to the game. You take all of these movie villains (dracula, joker, alien, terminator) and make them NPC enemies, add jet packs and laser guns you have to recharge, the ability to claim or lock off rooms or areas for you and/or your team, eventually get the ability to make items with components, and there are apparently thousands upon thousands of rooms to explore.
It may be a little intimidating at first, because the spanish inquisition runs up to you the first few times you play and says go here or there and take this, etc, but if you give it a chance, you'll find out that it's a lot easier to learn and understand than before.
The only thing I don't like is that you lose stats when you die, I think 1 hit point each time, maybe some other stats i dont know but haven't paid much attention to it. - but I don't like any mud that you lose hp or lives on hehe
