Since a video game company used Kyrandia without permission years ago, would I get much trouble if I combined thier extended story into my wg Kyrandia game?
soon as I learn how the game works, I want to add on to the story, or make a whole new story maybe based on the main story. any ideas?

You can add whatever original content you wish to any game you purchase.

But Westwood and Galacticomm had a legal battle about Kyrandia; it was dropped by Galacticomm (lack of funds) so Westwood still retains rights to their version of the game and yes, could go after you.
