That's correct and the reason it was chosen!

Project Phoenix was the name given to a Galacticomm project (headed up by Joe as you said) to move the code base away from Borland to Microsoft Visual C.

Yes there have been many false starts previously, however there is new vested interest and all I can say is we are excited to see what we can achieve as a community.

Thanks for the support. We are excited about the plans ahead but are mindful of getting it right. There is no intention to over commit and under deliver, in fact as the new website indicates, this will not be an overnight process.
