You'll never see Tele-Arena released, because I don't think any one has the full source code to them. TA97, what ever, some variations actually had source code that also belonged to third parties (vircom for example) - so you'll probably never see these either.

What Rick is suppose to be working on is adding the Tele-Arena 1 maps to the Tele-Arena II game.

If you want the original, the easiest way to get it is to look up some of the old MBBS sysops that use to run TA and see if they still have their copy and will sell or give it to you for free or cheap. I'm currently trying to secure a copy myself, in which the owner wants $200 for every thing, if he ever finds the software and/or activation codes. May or may never happen.

Tele-Arena 1 refers to all versions of Tele-Arena up to 5.6c. Tele-Arena GOLD was Tele-Arena 1 with a few extra doo-dads and that was version 5.6d.

Tele-Arena II refers to a fresher source code base and a different, newer, and smaller world which was v5.6e.

Tele-Arena 97 refers to Vircom's customized game that ran on the Gamemaster BBS in Canada. It was never intended for release, it was never authorized for release, and it is because of them that the 80% TA source code leaked out. I don't even know if they called it Tele-Arena 97 or if that's a name that was applied to it because of the year it was leaked, etc.

There was no such official product from Sean.

they called it TA96 then TA97 leaving the name Tele-Arena out of it.
but hey look at it this way the source they leaked is trash, unless someone knows what they are doing to find the missing message files
they will never be able to stabalize that codebase cause the routines calling the msg files are in tsgarn-1.lib

also once a newly compiled DLL exceeds 1mb it stops responding to the crack to make it work on their bbs.

so unless there tsgarn-1.lib matches their bbs code they are screwed.
