New Module : E-Verify

Post by dspain »

this module is an email verifification system that locks users to a certain menu until they input a code that was sent to them via email, then it switches their class, posts keys, etc....

i will begin testing on this once the new Tele-Arena BETA server goes online sometime today tomorrow, hard to say ran into a NIC error.

Sounds like an interesting module to have:)

I'd be interested in this once you get things settled down again..

I've been trying to get onto your bbs latly to see when you put the new TA up, but I havn't been able to. could you post the current telnet address for us?

I checked and tried the one in your profile on here too and it didn't work...

Thanks!

since my NT server is merely a place where people come to DL files and such im gonna change port 23 to point to a diff server which houses the new tele-arena bbs (the test server)
telnet address will be same only difference will be

telnet: port23 for tabbs port50 for the file server
web: will point only to file server

Dan you should complete one project and move onto other side things such as this. Sysop's want the new TA (prolly with or without skills) IMHO You could run a poll possibly?

sysops also want an email verification system, they want Ta, they want globals, the list goes on, i assure you i get tons of emails daily on what sysops want added to WG's catalog of available products.

the thing with the skills is without them TA is not complete and i wont sell an incomplete game, cause in my experience once ya do guess what? then you get jumped on for not having skills, then when ya add those, its something else.
best resolution is make it complete before allowing it to go public.

i also do custom module development for sysops which takes priority over everything, and i do prolly 1-2 of those a week.

so i never have just one product, and the end result is 3-4 new products released a year, which is a good record considering the amount of ISV's we dont have anymore.

And I for one, am very grateful for people like you DSpain...

I used to be a programmer, and i understand how it can be looking at the same code for hours, there's times you need to work on something else just to be looking at something else...

Thank you DSpain!

One of these day's i'll get my desktop working right, and i'll get into programming again a bit, and i'll try to make a few of my own simple addon's :)

Thanks for everyone here!
