I'm attempting to setup a link from a wg3 board, to a sub board running wg2, for tele-arena.
I've done this in the past using Syncronet BBS as the sub board.
The problem is, wg3 wont allow me to rlogin outbound, if i've telnetted in. Well, all of my callers telnet in, so this is an issue.
I seem to remember running into this same issue when i did this on wg2, but i cant remember where the option to fix it is.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Re: outbound rlogin.. Wg3
First be sure rlogin is configed and enabled from CNF and be sure the access level in Security & Account is set to normal user access or they wont be able to use it. Be sure WG2 is set to accept rlogin connects.VeNoM wrote:I'm attempting to setup a link from a wg3 board, to a sub board running wg2, for tele-arena.

From Menu edit or Menutree edit in the client make a new module page, set the security lvl then module name: Rlogin Client
command string:
192.168.x.xxx -p 513 -m Gameserv
or for my wg 2 Dos bbs I use this line
192.168.x.xxx -p 513 -m BBS2
In the router I set the port relay to the 2nd computer(BBS2 wgdos) with only rlogin 513 port open only.
I also run Despains new rlogin update which allows for the -m nameswitch which will show in /# who's on. You can dl it from my bbs if you dont have it LGNUPD.ZIP in ISVARC file area.
