If you are running WG and you have a separate WG BBS for different games, is it possible instead of it showing RLogin as the users location to have it show what game they are playing in the other BBS or even say something different than RLogin?
Thanks
RLogin question..

Re: RLogin question..
Yes Despain made a new one for wg3nt. You just add a -m modulename into the menu command string. You can dl it from my bbs or acticzone. Despain has a few post's about it in his ISV area.Franchise_24 wrote:If you are running WG and you have a separate WG BBS for different games, is it possible instead of it showing RLogin as the users location to have it show what game they are playing in the other BBS or even say something different than RLogin?

Got the new module, overwrote the necessary files and changed my command line to
192.168.1.103 -mDoors_Server
as the directions state, and this is the message I get from WG when I do try to access my doors server:
"Sorry, you cannot rlogin out from this system if you've logged in from the Internet. You may wish to log off and rlogin directly from your home site."
What did I do wrong?

Check the security setting for rlogin in cnf you may need to change it from sysop to normal/demo, then check your router is set for the rlogin to port 513 and allow it to loop back to only the internal ip and port#.Franchise_24 wrote:Got the new module, overwrote the necessary files and changed my command line to

I use the Command string:
192.168.0.139 -p 513 -m Gameserv
hope that helps

We discovered the wee glitch of it not show the module name with all global packs just after we finished the final version. Despain is working to correct it, he wants TA finished first. Then he should have a chance to fix it. It does give a smoother faster connection in rlogin so you may want to use for a bit till Despain gets back to fixing it.Franchise_24 wrote:
