Strange Beta Disk's in a box, you may want to dl the final version from Questman before you install. Then run the licence count disk install.WndrBr3d wrote:Haven't loaded it yet, but the disks read 2.00 beta and show several windows utilities in the manuals.dspain wrote:nice find, 2.0 was dos only though.WndrBr3d wrote:Was able to score a boxed, sealed copy of WG 2.0 for Windows with 20-user license for the low, low price of $40!

I cant see how keeping compatibilty will increase your sales at Arcticzone, it will reduce them if anything.dspain wrote:4.0 is from NV llc, as a WG developer i cover all versionsStoneslinger76 wrote:WG4 from Questman/Elwynor/Galacticomm LLC ?dspain wrote: but meh no biggie allows me to stay focused on wg4 compatibility mode.
3.20 from gcomm llc and 3.30/4.00 from nv llc
no, 3.30 is from them as well and 90% of the systems out there run it.Stoneslinger76 wrote:I cant see how keeping compatibilty will increase your sales at Arcticzone, it will reduce them if anything.dspain wrote:4.0 is from NV llc, as a WG developer i cover all versionsStoneslinger76 wrote: WG4 from Questman/Elwynor/Galacticomm LLC ?

I just think adding compatibility for both will not be good in the long run. Separate versions would likely be the better path for an ISV. That way one version or the other is not plauged by a different standards which will cause problems more than likely in both.dspain wrote: no, 3.30 is from them as well and 90% of the systems out there run it.
elementary stuff actually, so sad its coming to what its coming to.
This is sad newsdspain wrote: yeah i lost my act code so compiling the new ta for wg2 aint gonna happen i .

hey man i wrote a small mid engine using powerlink using an odbc ms-access database and sql seems a bit laggy at times, any chance you got a galsql sdk lying around i wanna make one on that too to see if i can ease up the lag.Questman wrote:3.3 wasn't really from NetVillage. It was branded by them but nearly all the work was done by Galacticomm.
