Worldgroup Rlogin Client Update Released

Post by dspain »

Galacticomm Rlogin Client Release Notes
=======================================

Added -P parameter which allows you to specify the port
number to connect to the remote machine on.
If this paramter is not used then the port will default to
513.

Added -T parameter which allows you to place system tags
in front of the user's names when connecting to a remote server
which will allow multiple systems to use a single server with no
name conflicts.

Added -M parameter which allows you to mask the name of the rlogin
client module when connecting to a remote server with a custom name.

Added -B parameter which would allow you to block the system from
turning on your busy flag thus allowing all system messages to flow
through to you on the remote machine.

The /# command is now tunneled through the Rlogin Client module
which will allow it to make use of the masked module name option
without having to modify your worldgroup server binary.

The Rlogin Client is now compiled using Borland C++ 5.5.1 so
make sure you have CC3250MT.DLL in your Worldgroup directory.

send me a PM for a copy until i have the new file archive online.

this will resolve multiple worldgroup systems wanting to connect to a single TWGS server but causing naming conflicts, and it will also allow you
to rlogin to a port other than 513, and wil lalso allow you to name the
rlogin connection 'TradeWars', etc....

Yes its working well on theswampbbs.net the users inside twgs v2 are recieveing all the global comands and other system messages from worldgroup. The module name shows in /# who's on.

here is the command line I use.

192.168.xxx.xxx -p 513 -t -b -m TWGS
