Games

Post by The Storm »

Hello everyone,

I have a team of developers who are just foaming at the mouth to jump on board with me on a couple of projects. Great thing is, they love to do this for free as they love the BBS I've made and they're great friends that I work with as well. We want to make some games for the teleconference much like brawl and foodfight do but some dice and card games as well.

The question:

Would this be something we want to do with the Flash protocal that Mr. Stryker (bless his soul) made?

Also, we have everything we need, or so we believe, but when we setup the second computer with the REG code for WorldGroup 3.3, it installed just fine. When we try to activate the Dev Kit, it fails. Keeps telling me that it's an invalid code or the archive is corrupt. Any ideas on that?

These may seem like small questions to most, but for me, they're a big step.

Flash protocol is no longer supported on Win32 versions... it used an 18hz hardware interrupt, which of course is not supported under Win32's HAL.

Just make modules.

i think its a bug with some of the newer codes, i have the same problem with my code.

until we find someone who can get flash to work w/o 18htz flash isnt happening within nt

for the modules just write em up like tele-blackjack,etc...

i completely ported the suite over to nt but cannot release it due to licensing , the nt suite is owned by gameport.
but i have the dos suite sources i can send em to ya if you're interested.
get ya started.

welcome aboard.

Really? You might have older code base. Mine was based upon WG 3.0..

Anyway, Gameport, of course, would not sanction my making them available.
