worldgroup to a game server
I am trying to connect to GameSrv from a worldgroup 3.30 system but I must be missing something. I've tried using the software on the same computer but read rlogin has bugs that would prevent it from connecting. I've tried it from another computer on the network but still cannot connect. Does anyone have a good step by step guide to setting up a game server?

Have tried connected to the second computer thru telnet/rlogin from the network menu N from main menu? use the ip # not server name.Phoenix79 wrote:I am trying to connect to GameSrv from a worldgroup 3.30 system but I must be missing something. Make sure your router is configured to send inbound web/telnet to the WG
server. Check the game server is set to answer telnet or rlogin.
Their are a few post in the message base here about this, search on gameserv.

Yes you can do that, keep the security level to your N-Network command (main menu) as you see fit.Phoenix79 wrote:The setting is under security and accounting.. Just have to take away the sysop key so everyone could access the game server.
Best to make a menu comand from menu tree edit for the game server. Use the rlogin for module name, then in the lower command line enter the IP address of the game server. Set the security level for the new command and key.
