Tele-Arena 6.0 (WG3NT)

Post by dspain »

ok the long awaited NT version of Tele-arena has been r ewritten and has left BETA stages.
It is now in RC1 status and thus far averaging 23users 0 crashes so im overly happy with its outcomes.
just a note for sysops that had the original version.
i have no upgrade for your game, this no longer uses the vb editor or any of the DBASE IV databases. now all game data is edited online via a text driven editor (web editor under construction) it has all the same commands from the original with alot more options in regards to gameplay, its no longer just a hack and slash game game, now you can run quests, own clans, etc...
all game data edited takes place immediately and no reboot is required.
being in RC1 status just means its a release candidate doesnt mean it is for sale, i still have to send it off to rick to look at and discuss with him how to go about selling it.
it has a licensing method that allows smaller systems to have fun without having to pay for a large user count it comes in user counts of 8,16,32,50,100,256
also has an additional Export-Dev License which allows you to create an entire game's database set and export a reg# into the database which you can in turn sell or give away to other sysops who have a registered version.
Just like before the game comes as the game you have to obtain an additional activation code for the editor. again ill get with rick on pricing and see what we can come up with.
Another addon to the game is a web-agent that displays an active-h file of all the players online, a great addon to the wgnt web-server as well as a clan web-agent that allows clan owners to manage personal web-space on the server for their own clan.
anyone wishing to see this game please telnet to azonebbs.dyndns.org and check it out, this game is 3months into development and has already spanned to be a great wnt addon!
the idea of this game is to bring a great game to the WNT family with ease of editing and gameplay.
a web-site will be launched with the details of this game soon ill keep ya posted.

on a side-note The Worldgroup MUD Engine, is entering its first full version live beta stage, ill keep ya informed of more on this as it develops.

not yet u still have some small things to iron out, complete the clan system, and a few mods i did to the core and then discuss a business plan with Elwynor Technologies.
the wg2 and wg3 versions are pretty much ready to go when i do some small tweaks.
but until i discuss it with elwynor technologies i cannot accept payments at this time.
once i launch the finished products i will launch its own website with complete details and forums.

prior to launch ill let yall know how it goes.
unlike the original ta it doeso ffer a demo mode thats not time delayed only blocks certain things in the game like the ability to edit, move beyond the white rune or level 10 and no clan systems.

but its enough to see it in action and play for a while.

Once Dan is happy with it, I'll take a look and have some people working with me on Elwynor/Worldgroup stuff take a look.

Then, we'll sign a contract and move forward.

We haven't started those discussions yet. I'm the sole owner of the Tele-Arena game which of course includes the name, descriptions, etc. Dan's done some work on the game, so, like I've done with Don with Mud Magic and Wilderlands, we'll have a partnership arrangement.
