Just wondering who deletes these and if you also ban the IP, seems the same ones are back every other day.

I'm one of the moderators and move them to a 'spam' area where Rick can ban their IP's. Unfortunately, ip's change frequently.

They could, but that isn't perfect either. We would need to check the filter to make sure a valid message isn't getting blocked over something embedded in the title or message.

I agree, today was especially bad. I am just a moderator for the forum, I'll see if I can get Questman to see what he can do.

Slot machine at home, might be cheaper... Just insert the quarters and when you have lost everything, you still win the jack pot (your money back) - lol

I get about 50 e-mails a day though asking me to validate users.. only two of them since I turned the option on have been real users. Annoying but worth it.

Validator must be broken

Post by Rigoletto »

Been over a thousand new members / users since I registered just 7 weeks ago, most are from overseas and I'll wager that less than 50 of them have any real idea what this place is all about.

Just my two cents for today.

Yeah probably 5% may be lurkers and the rest are spambots and/or people will no real lives... on one of my forums I don't allow any registrations for certain countries/networks... 3 real bad one's for spammers.
