Having problems loading Major BBs 6.25

Hello all... I got into bbsing back in 89 then stopped all together around 98. Then got back into it again around 2004 when I ran my own synchronet board. Needless to say I shut her down foro lack of users. I've always liked major bbs, but of course at the time being so young and the software being so new I lacked the funds to purchase it. But I came across this majorbbs 6.25 entertainment bundle recently and decided to set it up for me and some friends to relive the glory days of LORD, MajorMud and such.

Heres the problem.. After extracting all the files then setting up the swsvpkt driver.Changing the config.nt to files=254
Going into the majorbbs console and putting the following in:
ip: 192.168.2.3
subnet:255.255.255.0
gateway:192.168.2.1
PrimDNS:24.25.5.150
SecDNS:24.25.5.149

Then hit 5 to launch the bbs, everthing looks fine while loading then BAM! I get this error message:

Btrieve open error 12 on file "bbsv6(cannot read rest of error message it is hidden behind the console graphics)
USRNUM=-1,MSG:MJWUTX.MCV/21

I went to the audit trail for the main console and discovered a TCPIRC ERROR Default server name unresolvableafter the error HWSCLEAN starts shutting down everything.

Can someone please point me in the right direction.

thats from the MBBS4EVER package and it is an illegal 'entertainment bundle' and thus not supported.
