wg 3.0

Post by dspain »

ok well as all of you know i have been working around the clock on an enourmous worldgroup file server.
well its about to go online today with about anything you can think of on there.

only thing im down to now is having worldgroup source kits is cool but having them where you simply install and type make is where i want that portion of the file server to be.

i have the following source kits ready to run:

3.3,3.2,2.0,1.01,bbsv6

i also have 3.0,3.12,3.13 but im running into problems here cause well i dont have a code to init the actual software.

so anyone that has a wg 3.0,3.12,3.13 code hell i dont care if its 2 user can i borrow it?
i dont need the reg code i need the act code.

when this bbs launches today theres 3 access levels.

WGISV WGUSER and USER

WGISV is a worldgroup developers account where you have access to all WG source material and must have an ISV tag and a valid registration #

WGUSEr means you are a worldgroup sysop and have access to things only other sysops may get ahold of l

and USER is just a simple user

once i get the last 3 source kits to compile im going online.

this bbs runs wg v3.2 for nt with several modules for your enjoyment with wg 2.0 as a dos server to bring you some games unavail currently on 3.xx and a tele-arena server running another copy of 2.0 that i host only the most advanced tele-arena game of its kind.

you may link from your bbs i have no problem with that.

wg 3.0 found

ok i ran into an old buddy named alex rose, he sent me the 3.0 code and the 255 user unlock code.

so 3.0 is looking good, so 3.12/3.13 is what im looking for now.

please note, the code wont be used in any distro its simply to install a working server, compile it then the galgsbl.dll and majorbbs.exe are deleted cause with my dev kits you need your own galgsbl.dll from the your own server install and when you compile it writes your own code into the server.

I have a good sized collection of modules NT and 2.0. I dont have any cracks or hacks. Just the install ver of the modules.

I can upload them if you want.

I'm not really sure what I need yet, until I get whatever dspain wants to send me. Do you have any demos that aren't time-limitted? I've got the rose - council of guardians and Lunatix already, which aren't time-limited..

awesome.

i got more than 650 modules in my archive, some cracked some not im trying to weed it all out anything unavailable and will never come back like swords & sorcery by logicomm,etc... i keep online cracked, anything rick has aquired i only have the installers up.
its a rather large file assortment, i need to find out whats up with adventurecomm cause i got every module they ever made with registration code generators.
same with alot of datasafe modules.
i wanna have an original file archive online for people to get the demos then work on registrations if it ever comes to that.

the files are the easy part, making the html screens
is what takes time. unless you just dump them all in a dir and let people root thru them like I did once.
it's ruff, I have a few hundred newage and occult books I want to make html pages for, err, one day.

for books use PDF i have every single book ever made for advanced dungeons and dragons in PDF format.
i emailed em about a year ago telling em i write rpg's for a worldgroup bbs platform and wanted to institute real ad&d lore and asked permission to use their ideas / concepts, what i got back was a confirmation and my address so they could send me a welcome pack. i was like hey cool but what i got was 2 DVD's loaded with all their stuff in PDF.
no need to make HTML make a dir let em root when they click the book they'll get the full color/graphical display

as far as my files no im going straight FTP
