the resurrection mechanic has been changed.
sysops can set the option to charge credits or gold to resurrect or simply select none to make all resurrections free.
sysops can also set a level to start charging for resurrections to allow low level characters a chance to get higher before they start paying to resurrect.
if a player dies with a soulstone type item they lose 5% experience, and the soulstone item, but retain all items, spells, deposited gold, and they instantly enter the temple of the first town.
if a player dies without a soulstone type item they lose 10% experience, 50% of deposited gold, all carried and equipped items, and all known spells.
the above options are sysop configurable as far as what ya lose, and how much experience to take, those are simply default values.
all players dying will lose carried gold.
in the event a player has life crystals, they will lose nothing and instantly regenerate all lost health/mana and never leave combat.
life crystals can only be gotten by sysop editing, and are in there mainly as a testing tool for designers.

Oh, ok.. so, it's not a real item that they carry then, it's just how many 'Lives' that they have then, i see...
I like it! That way a user can't get them stolen by a rouge or drop them from tripping... And they can't give them away
