ok the initial Tele-Arena SQLite engine was a success, a major improvement over the old btrieve engine where it took me daysd to beat out the kinks.
for starters one of the biggest improvements to this game is the multi-character option.
now the sysop can control how many "characters" each bbs user account can have and the user can switch between characters from the game menu
when you enter you are displayed a choice of characters to choose from or type 'new' to make a new one.
when you exit the game you are back at the character selection menu where X puts you back in the game menu or typing then name of another character to enter as that character.
since tele-arena SQL offers player crafting skills its much easier to switch between your characters with the various professions without having to log off logon with a new account, etc...
another addition are there are now 10 races and 10 classes to choose from
and each class and race have many different traits to set them apart
for example a Draconi which is a very durable lizard man is a hell of a warrior gaining stamina, strength, and agility bonuses however he fails combat spells 90% of the time and healing spells 75% of the time and they do not understand how to use magical items.
rememeber the days of high hitpoint half-ogre arch maguses? not anymore a half-ogre will be lucky to get beynd failing to cast spells much less the fact they cannot read so their spellbook is useless.
the races in Tele-Arena SQL are: Elf,Dwarf,Gnome,Human,Goblin,Half-Ogre,Troll,Ent,Skaven,Draconii
the classes are: Warrior,Magister,Acolyte,Rogue,Hunter,Druid,Neophyte,Necrolyte,Minsterl,Initiate
you can now promote 4 times promotion1 at level 25, promotion2 at level 50, promotion3 at level 75 and promotion4 at level 100.
level 100 you gain the title of Elder "Elder Sysop"

i still got alot of work to do but i got the basics running under SQLite now so database stuff is going with ease, and the game responds very quickly to queries.

keep in mind if you are looking for a classic tele-arena world or an extension to classic tele-arena this is not the game for you, this is completely new world, new systems, new everything.
