good news for WG2 sysops my nice new TA engine i created for WGNT, well i decided to do one for WG2 as well.

the wg2 version uses btrieve but each database was pulled from within the game and written to it's own database, the databases are named to reflect what they contain just like the windows based editor.

TAEITEM.DAT = items, TAEMON.DAT = monsters, etc....

the game plays exactly like the original only with a cleaner and much more editable interface.

i did add some things like limitations within the sysop commands and checks to prevent crashes, the ability to add new arenas, new terrains, and increased max lairs to 5,000.

the game like the original initializes then loads the content from the databases, if you have the editor addon you can edit content and it all takes place without having to reboot the system.

i will have a wg2 system online for you to see the new engine as well as run a copy of the original so you can see the differences.
