This site is dedicated to providing resources on the current developments relating to The Major BBS (later called Worldgroup) and to documenting and preserving the history of the software and it’s parent company Galacticomm, Inc. Considerable time and effort has been dedicated by many people over the past 20 years to keep the memory alive of what was one of the most popular pre-internet era software packages available. We thank those people for their hard work.
With this new site and supporting forums, we intent to rebuild the MBBS/WG community which has become very fractured over the years.
We encourage you to visit our forums, join our Discord server or chat in Teleconference and become involved in the community. We will provide updates through these channels.
