yeah I feel for you, I lost my little girl due to a car crash and it took me awhile to get things back together ...but I am working on it and trying to complete all the things I said I would for people ... helps the time pass :)

Its running WG2 w/MajorTCP/IP & DMA Server V2.22-4 it loads fine but nothing can connect to it. I am using the same WG reg# on both WG2 and WG3.2NT and I have the DMA server activation code set in the DMA client like it says to do when you use the same Reg# on both systems.

I have the 2.22-4 docs and I have gone back over them and found that its just a TELNET channel and it looks like it doesn't matter about the reg# because I am using the DMA Client on the other system but I still cant connect to the DMA server....guess I will go back through it all one more time and ...

Ok I got this damn software out of Vircom and I am trying to set it up...I think I have it configured right but not sure.

What type of channels do you use for a DMA server? I think its TELALT but not sure.

And my DMA server and my Main bbs have the same Reg#'s is that correct or do they need to ...

Well we have more documentation for the Archive and even more coming, Syclops mailed us a bunch of stuff this past week and we have 4 or 5 others sending us what they have so its growing every month :)

Looking for Menu Magician!

Hey guys does anyone know if there was a worldgroup version of Menu Magician by HVS and does anyone have a copy? I have a copy for the MajorBBS v6.25 and a reg code but I would like to get it for my Worldgroup system.

Or is there anything out there like it?

Thats the Problem thanks for the help ...now I know what to do to get it running :) This was driving me crazy because I did everything the way I always do...but I am adding the MajorTCP/IP this time and I didnt even think about that....see what going without sleep will get you hehe again thanks ...

Yes the packet drivers are loading and getting the message :)

I am using WG2.0 DOS with MajorTCP/IP v2.22-4 and the AMD Packet Drivers v2.2

Everything seems to be loading fine until it hits that error and boom!

I have the AMD Packet Drivers installed with the command line of

PCNTPK INT=0x60

and it appears to be working. Got the drivers from the link that was in the forums here for Packet Drivers.

Running WG2.0 Dos on VMWare and I am getting the following error;

Ok dumb question on this DMA server and WG20 guys, I have a development WG20 system running fine in WindowsXP but when I try to setup a new system for the DMA server I get the error NO PKT DRIVERS, I take it that ICO will work with the virtual software PKT drivers but Vircom's MajorTCP/IP doesn't ...

Talk to Questman or Dspain they can help....I think all you need is the gcomm ICO its the same thing as MajorTCP/IP but it was made by galacticomm.

What do you mean when you wrote legal TCP/IP module? Do you mean MajorTCP/IP or just TCP/IP service for the BBS like the Internet Connectivity Option or ICO? if its just ICO that shouldn't be a big deal but if you are looking for MajorTCP/IP you will need to talk to Vircom and its a pain to get ...

Pervasive is the company that bought Btrieve and that was the SQL version, you can convert to that and it does work but in the testing that I have done I have found it unstable with some add-ons but it did work on simple configurations, there is a few systems using it with MajorMUD to get ...
